Dark kitchens are delivery-only restaurants that operates without direct contact with the consumer and sells food exclusively through online platforms.
The kitchen is not mandatory related to one single restaurant. The phenomena gave birth to new business models, in which the kitchen is owned by a company, which rents it to one or more food delivery restaurants that use the space to prepare their meals.
