The spatial impact of closing the street to car transit
It is an initiative initially promoted by the group of schools D. Filipa de Lancastre, later extended to other schools in the city of Lisbon.
With the aim of promoting a change in commuting habits, the streets surrounding the school buildings are closed to traffic, allowing children and parents to freely circulate in public space.
