It is a long-term bicycle lending system involving also the collection and the repair of old or unused bicycles. It is a project by CICLODA – Association Oficina da Ciclomobilidade with the support of the Lisbon City Council and the Freguesia of Arroios. It was created during the COVID-19 pandemic with the aim of supporting the mobility of all individuals who need to move around and do not have a bicycle. Nowadays the initiative aims to promote the use of bicycles as an alternative mode of transportation, reducing emissions and alleviating urban traffic.
