Mutable Urban Space

In January 2023, the student Rita Monteiro (Master in Landscape Architecture, ISA.ULisboa), presented the final dissertation entitled “Mutable Urban Space. Urban rhizomes around the city, among the gardens and in the flowerbeds”.
Under the guidance of Maria Matos Silva (Intermittent City’s consultant) and the coguidance of Alessia Allegri, Rita developed an investigation about a set of small initiatives or self-organized ‘reclaim-the-city’ intermittent engagements with nature, from Lisbon’s city-scale to its parks, gardens, and flowerbeds.
